Brad Pitt in Oceans Eleven depicts this style as well as anyone I have ever seen.

Unless you happen to be Tony Montana just don't do it. For the love of god don't do it!

none of the pictures posted here have convinced me it can be done well. it still looks very period or costumey. it'll come back in style i'm sure maybe when clooney does it.

He's about the only guy that can pull it off.

OK, so if you wear a shirt with a blazer and no tie, how should you wear the shirt collar?

Inside the confines of the blazer's lapels.

Check out the What Are you Wearing Today sticky to see some excellent examples of how it's done.

I want to do this for my next date. This is what I want to do: t-shirt with images near the neck area, then dress shirt with top 3 buttons unbuttoned to show the images on the t-shirt, then blazer with the collars of the dress shirt above the lapels. So it will look like both the blazer and the dress shirt open into the images on the t-shirt. Good idea?

And he's still meant to look (and act) like a bit of a goof next to Clooney.
