Occasionally after I wear my Indys or my Grant Cap toe, my knees really ache.  Anyone else run into this problem?  Solutions?  I feel pretty confident I have the correct sizes.

If your knees ache on the interior (where they would touch each other) it's likely you overpronate and have a collpased or collapsing arch. It is possible that you need or usually wear shoes with greater arch support and in these Aldens (which are very flat) you will experience pain.

As mentioned before, the Modified Last does have a high arch, as it is an orthopedic shoe. While I myself have a slight natural arch - it also collapses. Thankfully, I can wear flatter shoes so long as the waist is wider. I find that using heel taps can cause greater knee pain for some people, as they make the shoe less flat and tilt your knees in. Obviously, this is hardly noticeable for some, but for people who are sensitive to changes like that - proceed with caution.

Thanks!

Sazon, do you know if the J Gilbert make-up will come with a commando sole? I know Plaza is generally sleeker than Barrie, and I've seen Plaza boots made without the commando sole and with all eyelets instead of speedhooks. Do you have a link to images or info? Thanks again.

J Gilbert shell boots on the Plaza have a commando sole and speed hooks.

Is anyone selling the snuff suede PTB with leather sole in Leyden? I know I've seen barrie at a few places.

On a similar note, does anyone have the sand suede PTB? If so, is it versatile in casual environments for being a pretty light shoe?

Yeah I'd say so - I would compare their versatility to something like a similarly colored pair of bucks. Though my workplace is typically very casual so I can wear just about anything.

Yes it's comical. I have chronic sleep problems and often get out of bed a 2,3,4 am when I get tired of tossing and turning. It always amazes me how active this thread is even at those late hours.
