Thanks to all.

Awhile ago, I got some excellent help from many members here at styleforum regarding how to buy Alden's at a pretty good price and what to look for in terms of lasts, the value of shell cordovan, etc.

All of this help was hugely helpful and completely changed how I buy proper dress shoes. And most important of all, it resulted in my having the best pair of shoes I have ever owned.

THANK YOU>

^ mediahound, way to jump on an opportunity. Nice score! If I wasn't waiting on almost the same thing in a boot I would've joined you.

I'm really liking 'em so far I must say.

They have an interesting profile which is different than a standard 5 eyelet Alden.

Guess what showed up today?:

Does have 6 eyelets. Very nice, unique.

By the way, it seems to fit similar to the LWB, Barrie.

For some reason it looks more...

...Than other barrie lasted shoes. Maybe they just need to be creased, or perhaps its the six eyelets.

Congratulations none-the-less, and as always, wear in good health!

Not feeling those at all, but then again i'm not a fan of the medallion cap. Clean cap toe or death.
