I completely forget that I had preordered the LWB color 8 in antique edge from Leffot. I also have a pair of color 8 LWB (975) sitting in the closet that was picked up during the seconds sale at TSM. So the difference in both pairs is the welt: one is lighter and one is darker.

Not really looking to get rid of either pairs, but would be happy (I guess, haha) to offer either one of them to a member in this thread at cost. I'm only interested in offering either pair to a member in this thread, so I have no intentions of putting this in the marketplace. I'm looking to share some goodies rather than hoarding both pairs when I know other members are seeking them. Just let me know if you're interested and as always, first come, first served.

The leffot preorder was sold out in most sizes within 2 minutes, so this make-up is highly, highly popular.

Both shoes are in 8.5D (Barrie).

what a shame, I am 7.5D :brick:

Interesting.  I wonder if it was that boot/run, or if that model is always that way.  Did you exchange them for the right size?  I may just drive down to South Norwalk for a try-on.

At the time ,TSM didn't have my TTS and I never followed up. It's a great looking boot in person.

How is your LS Brown CXL aging...I prefer it to stay similar to what is pictured and not change to some other darker shade.

The color of the CXL is ageing nicely - the oils in CXL really come up to the surface with wear. The one thing I will caution you on regarding this model is stretching - my small toe pushes up against the edge of most shoes, and this has stretched my CXL chukkas out a bit. They still look fine, but this can annoy a lot of people. The Indy boot shape works better with my feet in CXL - I'm looking forward to my Ultimate Indys arriving soon...

Thanks for the information, if given the choice again would you have opted to go a wider width? I am leaning towards a snugger fit as I fear with some stretching too loose a fit and the two eyelets will not be enough to keep it secure.

Did anyone get a pair of those Leffot x Alden "Walter" boots? I have been on this hunt for a pair of black boots(I should have never gotten rid of my Dr. Martens from the 90s). Im not 100% sold on the crepe soles, but they look good, nonetheless. IMO, They have a bit of that punk/British vibe that im searching for, but would love to see them in the wild.
