Beyond the style point, and in all seriousness, I like the perforated captoe better in a boot.   I think a boot with a plain toe, plain shaft, blind eyelets and speedhooks that blend into the color of the boot (as opposed to contrast) is just too much plain.  While that perforated captoe does not add much more ornamentation that the captoe, it does add some and I think looks better in a boot.  I also think the shape of the captoe looks better than the plain toe.

Classic SF comment, ask about shoes and get advice about pants......Haha

Tuff call on which one, I'd probably go with the plain toe boot if you can't keep both.

So my wife and I are planning a weekend getaway to San Francisco, and she pulls me aside to show me her logic for picking our hotel.

I knew I married the right woman!

How about some more posts of the new Ravello LWB release. Mine arrive tomorrow and I will post when they arrive. If they are too dark, they will go back or offered here.

Very nice, I like the sock coordination with the shoes. Are those Marlows?

What can I expect from them for charges? I am thinking it should only be taxes.

Since they are US-made you should be paying no import taxes in Canada.

Pitt boot wins, easily.

Cigar goes well with blue denim.

I'll try to post some pics tomorrow, just got my pair today but haven't seen them in natural light yet, here's a quick pic(poor lighting) next to Cigar.

Both models are actually lighter than what they look in the pic.
