Pretty good suggestion, standard version is unlined correct?

pretty sure someone said its roughly $12 PER eyelet. I'll double check.

I was quoted $16/eyelet last year to change speed hooks to eyelets. Decided against it.

Wow at that premium I guess it would be worth the extra price from Frans Boone if I really want them. Something to think about.

I suppose just adding exposed eyelets is a much easier job than converting speed hooks to eyelets.(Assuming that the suede PTB have no hidden eyelets)

Excellent ptb selections today, gentlemen.

Hmmm... Was under the impression they were recent, but they do have a 3 at the beginning of the serial #

Very nice Uncle. The King of the Alden LWB's. Just my $0.02.

+1, love them!

This morning after getting dressed, I looked for my Color 8 chukkas on commando. Couldn't find them. I shuffled around my 13 boxes of Aldens, double-checking all the numbers and labels. Still couldn't find them. Then I started to panic. I hastily began opening boxes to make sure that I hadn't put my Color 8 chukkas back into the wrong box. Beads of sweat started to build up on my forehead. Had I lost them? Did I leave them somewhere? Where were they?!

That's when I realized I don't even own Color 8 chukkas on commando...

Yup, that happened this morning. So I mixed things up a bit and went with these.

You could try the BB version.  The eyelets though, are matching color (not sure they "pop" enough for you Burzan, but I highly recommend)...

The color here looks a little darker.  I need to brush them in a different direction for a lighter shade.  I really like these and got them 30% of a few months ago.

Dude, I think I see a water spot on your left cap toe from the beads of sweat dripping down as you tied your laces (I hope the salt comes out)! :rotflmao:

4060s on the grant ironclad. I am debating the black captoe on the grant vs. Leffot naval boot. Anyone out in Alden land have both?

Wish I could help you with that assessment, Bespoken. Unfortunately I do not have the Leffot naval boot for comparison.

But I definitely find the 4060 to be very versatile.
