curious what/if you gents would do to try and rectify this dark spot on these TSM irregulars that I just received?

also, any idea who these were made for? Modified last, some type of scotch grain saddle. No makers mark on the insole (other than alden).. would have thought Moulded Shoe but couldn't find anything on their site

minor imperfection on one of the insides of the shoe, hardly noticeable due to the scotch grain

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I'd brush (with a suede brush), spray with waterproofing/suede protector, allow to dry, and simply wear.  You will end up having minor marks or stains after wearing suede frequently.  Sometimes brushing will remove, but if not, no big deal.  Enjoy!

Ahhh so you are the one who grabbed the 11E plaza cap toes. I went in over the weekend to try those on and they were gone. Shoot me a PM if you end up returning them.

Here is a pic of the flaw.  Ed said that he felt like the horse had a scar in his hide.....it is small and barely noticeable.  I have had firsts look worse than this.

Ha yea. This is my auction. Seeing some recent auctions on eBay got me thinking that i could set the starting bid higher to see how it goes.

@Patina, good luck with your auction. I think you might have overpriced your starting bid. $750 would have been my choice. You bring more people into the fold initially to get the competitive juices flowing. Then the bidding war begins. I could be way off, but I suppose we'll see soon enough. All the best...

$750 for seconds? I think TSM's price would be a good starting price.

agreed. a $1200 starting bid for seconds seems a tad high. but then again, if someone wants them bad enough then it's a win for Patina

I think you would be very fortunate to get over $750 considering:
1. You don't know the color
2. Seconds
3. Obscure size

I agree on the TSM price start point.

However, he will likely find that they don't sell at that start price.

I have always had better luck starting off much lower, and spending the extra few dollars for a reserve if you are concerned.

On a better note, the little pup decided he wanted to compare feet sizes this morning...

And I had to show the second pic, because it is natural lighting in the shade this morning with no filters. This King is gorgeous in color...
