RTP, the unlined LHS is amazing! I love both of mine a lot. Very comfortable, almost slipper like. I would go for those if I were you.

Thanks for the heads-up!  How long will these prices be in play?  Not many sizes available, but some interesting make-ups nevertheless...

I believe it is midnight est time tonight and in store tomorrow at 11a.m. est.

Im guessing the Alden makeups will get smoked in the first day, I wonder if they have different stock in the actual stores than online?

I get the emails but I have only ever called into the store 1 or 2 times.

Well I received the Shell Whiskey Chukkas today. They actually arrived yesterday but had a sleepover at the Tampa airport post office.

I've RenoMat'd them and hit them with Renovateur and Alden Water Defender.

I don't own a bone yet...but it looks like it would help these shoes.

  Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

These may be a good candidate for Alden refinishing.

It appears as though there was a lot of foot perspiration going on, or something similar as the creased area is quite dark.

It is an interesting anomaly that I haven't seen thus far.

it is possible that they are not completely dry from your treatment yet

I wonder what they (Alden) could do with them?

He might have turned Water into wine...but whiskey into cigar is what I'm afraid of when I send them to Massachusetts.

I think the issue was the fella didn't religiously use shoe trees.

I have been told the deer bone will help take care of this.

My Whiskey LHS have some darker creases too....just not this dark.

Leffot sales are up. Just an FYI for anyone interested. Navy suede loafers in my size but I'm going to pass.

Those are a great candidate for an Alden restoration and complete refinishing.

The rolls burnished the leather and trapped lots of oil from the hide. I like how the burnishing is opposite - with the lighter  toe. You could burnish the toe tip and heel to even it all out. Some sun and product and brushing & trees will even it out. I would say worn < 80 cared for 0  lilely the wrong size

uhoh.gif anyone's biggest fear with used shoes

^ My biggest fear buying used shoes is that they appeared in one of those YouTube videos where some dude is standing in a river wearing dress shoes, fondling himself.
