1. You are not alone my friend. Each pair of handmade shoes/boots fits a bit different, even if on the same last. Add to that shell v. calf v. suede v. CXL and you are basically guaranteed to have a shoe that fits slightly different.
2. Do you have an assistant that travels with you to take "in motion" pics? :)

There's been times where I have think if I should have sized down 1 full size instead of .5 in these Indy Oxfords. Even with tongue pads, they are still loose with normal socks.

Haha, just a digital camera set on self timer placed on random object of proper height :embar::happy:

Gents,
I'm interested in a plain toe or cap toe cigar boot with a commando sole on the Barrie last. Can anyone suggest a make-up that might match or get me close to the aforementioned description?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Yes, but my issue with it would be that such a crease would never form from my feet. If it's all the same after a few wears, then that is fine, but I'm not sure that is the case here.

Alden DC has the cap toe you describe.

Edit: Sorry, its not Barrie Last. Its Grant.

Leather Soul did a Cigar PT on Barrie, don't think it was commando though.

Best of luck in your quest.

I have a question to give myself peace of mind: How similar does the 975 (LWB) fit to the Epaulet Brixton? They are both Barrie, but it appears that the toe on the Brixton boot is slightly more prominent.

I ask because I have a pair of Brixtons in 7.5D that fit perfectly, and I just ordered a pair of LWBs in 7.5D, but I want to be sure of the fit.

Thanks Sevenfoldtieguy and REguy for your thoughtful responses. I will try to see if any local retailers have them in stock, but I haven't seen them around in a long while.

Couple of thoughts one he does have one leg and offered out the other I'm case there was one like him but opposite. Or he wear two drastically different sizes and he is selling a left over from getting a fitted pair but most likely the first
