I have never seen such a subtle break in a LWT vamp, those must fit just perfectly. Very nice shine as well.

thank you

I could certainly be wrong, but they look much sleeker and pointier than the Tremont Last. Compare to the 974 and you can tell they look different. It may just be the angle of the picture though.

There are intriguing from the Pelle Line site:

Any thought about what last they are on? I may call tomorrow to ask about them.

I've seen this model at Pelle Line...If I remember correctly, these are on the Plaza last.

^Plaza was what I was thinking, though it seems improbable. Certainly does look like it.

if not alden, is there another retailer that offers more of a "medium brown" shell shoe/boot? not quite as dark as cigar, not quite as reddish as ravello?

Hmmm, as I think of the spectrum of shell cordovan, nothing comes to mind that fits this parameter. I'm interested to hear suggestions as well.

Just a friendly reminder that we are working on a Kudu Indy MTO. Currently, I am in the process of collecting information from SF members so that Moulded Shoe can collect deposits for the order. This may take a few days; so there is still time for people to join the order. This is really a unique opportunity. To my knowledge, there has never been a Kudu Indy boot on the Modified last. PM me if you're interested in more information.

Always hard to judge color, but I'd suggest having a look at Carmina's cognac shell.

What about Trickers? I guess Mogano is closer to #8, but I would think they have something like what you are describing. No?

Edit:

Quote: ^^^ That appears to be exactly what you have described.

What about mahogany? Although not currently available, wouldn't that also fit the description?
