How much room do you guys give your big toe in cordovan shoes?
The store I was in recommended 1-2mm distance, however the shoes I tried on were way too uncomfortable. Think the guy was trying to sell me an ill fitting shoe. :/
Yeah, that's a pretty severe case... That said, a Google image search of alden cordovan chukka along with a search of this thread shows that the majority of chukkas have at least a moderate amount of rolling. It comes with the territory with the model.
