I am guessing 2-3 months. It could be a bit sooner but I doubt less than 60 days

Thanks, rydenfan. I thought it was next month, but was hoping to try to squeeze in a Barbour jacket purchase before the cigars come in. Also bracing myself for the possibility of a Viberg shell impulse buy.

Btw, Adam at AofC got his Barrie brown cxl wingtip boots on commando in the other day. Could be a comfy boot for the spring or fall.

Thought I would update the forum:

I sent the hybrid "Cigarello" PTB's back to Alden earlier this week along with a letter explaining the situation (bought as 2nd's, my desire to have them matched etc.), and a print out of my communication with Brenda. This morning I received a nice email from Arthur Tarlow explaining that if I were to assume the risk and not hold them responsible for the outcome, Alden would attempt to slightly darken the lighter left shoe to match the darker right one. Arthur's exact words on the matter were, "We have found a very low success rate in trying to match colors in refinishing". Cost is $55.

As my size is so difficult to get hold of, and I have no idea when I might be able to get my hands on this model in a rare shell again I have accepted, but I have made it very clear that I do not want anything close to #8.

I guess we'll see what happens, but of course I'm hoping that Alden come through and perform a miracle.

Does Alden NY have excess stock of the LWBs, or is it just for pre-orders?  Would really like a whiskey...

Nordstrom had Bedales on a nice sale today if you are a 40-something size.

It was all pre-oredered and pre-paid.  Anything is possible but I would surmise highly unlikely. I went cigar and regret not getting both, whiskey would be nice.......Im sure you some will pop up soon

Ha, that sounds like it might be true with Alden's as well as in life...........my pragmatism failed me at that moment, I was thinking I would not get much wear out of the Whiskey LWB
