My best guess is Aberdeen, although they don't quite look pointy enough.  Maybe its because they are suede.

Would anyone be able to tell me what last these are on? Brown suede captoe bluchers, I've never seen any other Aldens like them. I believe they were a custom order.

Thanks in advance!

Nice shoes.
That's the dark brown suede flex welt straight tip blucher copley last

Same here, athletic shoes almost always run super small for me as well. I'm a 12.5 B/C brannock, but I need to size up to 13 in most sneakers, and some Nikes I actually need a 14. The only sneakers that I have to size down on are Converse All-Stars, I need a 12 in those.

Great, thanks for your help. They are indeed!

Ravello and cashmere on a Sunday morning. They are definitely my favorite and most distinctive Aldens. I've kinda gotten stuck on the purple laces of late.

^^^ Very nice Be.  Haven't seen pics from you in a while.  Didn't know you had ravello LWBs.  Lookin' great with the purple my friend.  Too bad our Vikings and Ravens couldn't represent the purple this weekend!

Thanks RTP, the Vikings started the season not having a ghost of a chance. There's always next year, maybe.

Nikes run pretty darn small. Most models I need a 9.5 or 10, while my Brannock is right around (or just under) a 9D. I do love my Lunar Controls though on the course!

Coffee break at church. Pastor asked where to get those shoes.

Nice looking shoes MH! Just getting back from church myself. It wasn't my pastor, but an old family friend who asked me the same question.

FAVORITE ALDEN

Okay, this a darn tough question to answer.  But I've gotta say my Cigar Indys, all eyelets, on commando soles from TSM are my favorite.  They are my go-to boots for a variety of situations.  I've swapped out the original brown laces for blue laces.  Just a subtle change.  Here they are in natural light, then artificial indoor light.

A very close second place for favorite Aldens has to go to my King Brixtons, all eyelets, on antique soles.  Again, with natural light and then artificial indoor light.

The deeper I get into Aldens, the more I realize that Color 8 is mind-bending in its ability to change color, depth, and overall appearance both in subtle ways and obvious ways (I'm finally realizing what many other wise forum members have stated many times before).  I think the above two photos clearly demonstrate its power.

And although we were asked to pick a single favorite Alden, I will say that my recently acquired King cap toe boots on Grant last and commando soles from Alden DC will have a fighting chance at claiming the top spot on my list in the near future.

curious where you got the laces for the cigar indys? I have the same pair of shoes, and the laces really compliment them.. what length also?

thanks!
