I'd look into preordering the natural chromexcel, but natural chromexcel seems to vary significantly from how it looks out to the box to how it ages. Preordering a pair, particularly in my E size, would be risky

I'd grab an Atom in 10E if I didn't already have the whiskey wingtips

The suede longwings are classics - I wish they offered the snuff in E widths

I own the Indy boots from them on commando soles that is on preorder, I highly recommend that boot for fall/winter.

I like the Plain toe a lot and I just got my Cigar Plain Toe Boots with Commando Sole just doing the break in right now.Pics will follow when I get a chance.
On another note which would you get a Ravello Longwing or a Ravello wingtip boots and why?

I'd get the boots but depends on your preference. Much more of a boot man. Are you Cigar PTB from anatomica as well?

same. all of them are boring. they need to re-release the captoe "navy boot" in black cordovan.

yeah gonna email them about this again. Really really want that boot

I'm considering on getting the Alden Indy 404 in Dark Brown Kudu. I want something a bit more water proof and something more suited for winter weather. I was wondering how one would go about caring for leather on this type of boot.I don't intend to spit shine it, however when it does come to polish would one even use polish on a boot of this type? If so what color?

obenauf heavy duty LP would also do a very good job.
Thanks.

Yeah I've also seen this mentioned as well. I guess it just depends which one you have used and which one you prefer using.

Kudu is a tough leather, very waxy and durable. It will always have a matte finish so I would imagine obenauf's would be best rather than polish. I have a pair but haven't had them for long enough to warrant any treatment.

Another question: what do you guys say about that 405C vs a standard 403 Indy? Intending to wear them heavily in F/W in fairly foul conditions (or should I just go kudu instead
