My only difference is that I reapply LD after any shoe care where I applied Renovateur or VSC. It ends up being 2-3 times a year.

FWIW, In discussing this with Alden shortly after LD hit the market, I was told:

(1) apply it each time the shoes are treated with another product (note: I was told LD can be applied before or after the other product ; my preference is to do it before)
and
(2) regardless of #1, apply it immediately prior to the shoes being in wet weather (assuming, of course, we know when such weather will hit us).

I have a few pairs of color 8 shoes and boots. biggrin.gif No two are exactly alike. And that's a good thing IMO.

The Leffot snuff plaza boot is great. I went with the preorder of the snuff plaza bluchers from J Gilbert instead as I think I will wear it over the summer more, but Leffot's boots are an excellent version.

And I already have the Plaza Safari. Really no need for this boot, must resist. But Plaza flex sole wingtip...ugh, there just went $106.

im wearing mine too. my pair is looking "hazy". I have brushed them, but they fog up within minutes of wear. I've tried renovator, alden boot cream, and of course serious brushing. I just ordered renomat. I hope something will help, I would rather not spend $150 sending them to restoration. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Thank your sir. Mine get hazy very easily too. I stopped stressing over it though. They shall be what they shall be.

Thank you! My new years resolution is to bend and flex less. I may only wear my shells while watching tv, with my feet up, in the future.
