What kind of experiences has everyone had with the soft calf?  It's hard to not go with CXL in a boot, for durability purposes.

Oh wow. Amazing! Never seen them before. I really like the silver buckle. Will have to look closer at the shoe shape.

Epaulet has something similar on order - a navy CXL version of their Innsbruck Indy boot. No estimate yet for when it will arrive though.

The concept of a navy boot just sounds so awesome to me. I just have a difficult time with real world usability...

Alcibiades posted some really great examples of his navy CXL wingtip boot from Leffot a while back. It looked much easier to wear than you might think.

I have a pair of Rancourt Blake boots in navy. They go great with pretty much everything, especially lighter chinos.

1. Dark Brown Regina Grain Calf. Wing Tip boot, Barrie last, commando sole, mid-tan antique sole edge.

I really like the sound of this make up. I'm sure I don't need it, but I am sorely tempted.

I have a Rider Boot Co. navy shell  chukka, and I find it pretty flexible.  I can wear it with a lot.

Navy CXL boots look great with all kinds of chinos. I also think they are dark enough to wear with raw denim. It is substantially easier if your denim is a bit lighter than the standard brand new indigo, but I wear mine with dark indigo as well. I've seen a lot of navy CXL and like it in a variety of makeups (Indy boots, chukka boots, PTB, longwings, wingtip boots and LHS).
