In my opinion, these are the perfect shade of cigar. Love the olive hue!

However, if I don't include any of my own, I like Bakes reasoning and selection.
Color 8 tassel seems like the ultimate 'one shoe shell'.

These are shortwings, right? What last?

Thanks everybody for all of the color 8 suggestions.  I clearly have some thinking to do.

I actually changed my mind when I saw whoever suggested the Alt Wein. Color 8 LWB would also work.

I may be leaning towards these.  Now I just have to find them. (edit -- found them)

The Alt Wiens and monkstraps might also be in the running, though.

you guys are funny. I would be scooping that gooey gold into a ziploc sandwich bag.

I dropped a jar of Reno and broke the lid too. I put the about half full jar in a ziplock bag.
It didn't dry out and I used it for awhile but eventually the Reno ate holes through the plastic bag.

^ good excuse/motivation to apply reno to collection. brush later

Shortwings on Barrie. Alden of Carmel originally, purchased from a fellow SF'er.

Theres a few that would work, I just think the color 8 tassel perfectly splits the middle.

For some reason I thought the AoC SWB (AF 80) was on the Leydon. For example, see this post. Of course, I see here that they're on the Barrie. Can anyone explain this?

Adam traditionally did them on the Leydon. Over the past couple years, he started offering more styles on both the Leydon and Barrie.
