I hope to have a shoe in this shade someday. Whether it be Cigar or Ravello...

I'm sticking with my captoe recommendation.

Awesome. Good to know. Thanks!

I hope to own a pair of these in Ravello one day, maybe some Ravello boots such as captors too.  I'm clicking my heels 3 times and saying there no shell like Ravello!

P.S.-Very nice shine!

See Ya,

Steve

First post here so please be gentle.  :)

I'm looking to get my first pair of shell cordovan shoes.  Debating between PT and LWB in #8.  I do not wear suits very often, mainly casual for work and every day.  I currently own a few pair of boots, 403s and PTBs in chromexcel, suede shoes and chukkas.

Any suggestions between the PT and the LWB?

Open to other suggestions too, wear a 7D in a Barrie.

Thanks!

I really think it comes down to personal preference between those 2. The LWB are a little less formal, but if that isn't a concern then just go with your personal style. For me, I'd start with the LWB. You'll eventually add the other anyway. Plenty of room for both in any wardrobe.

cannot go wrong with either of those selections. Given that you already have a PTB (albeit in a different leather) I would probably start with the LWB.
