Websites are practically useless. Call.

I even had a retailer tell me the other day via email that "We only sell models listed on our site". This was after a member told me he just bought a pair of exotic shells from them. It's a gamble.

Styles mentioned in this thread:

Correct! These sites are in the ancient times. The only way is to watch this thread like a hawk and call around. Best of luck!

^ For casual, I think epaulet's saddle leather in brown works. For bus casual I have a BB belt in a burgundy tone leather that does the job.

I didn't ask how long any of the whiskey or cigar that they had had been in stock, so like budapest12 mentioned, judging by the pronounced olive hue of the cigar captoe boots (which I noticed as well), everything may have been there a while and maybe there are just a couple of each in random sizes left.

The official Alden stores all have awful websites and I would take whats shown on them as an idea of what's generally available, but not what might be available at any given time. It's definitely best to call them (or email them if you have a bit more patience).

Alden 35mm Color 8 Shell Cordovan Belt w. Nickel Buckle - Not being produced right now.

Pretty sure that US retailers aren't allowed to put their Cigar, Whiskey, Ravello inventory on their websites by orders of Alden.  (It was explained to me by one retailer that this is to protect their international retailers from being undercut.)

So you won't see any of those colors listed on retailers' websites, and even if you did, it would probably be too late by the time you saw it.  As others have alluded, best bet is to call, or even better visit in person if possible.

You can distinguish the x-y-z generations from us old farts by their tats and piercings. Some would say the break of a gentleman's trousers is a dead giveaway too. Full break for this child of the twentieth century.

I think you're right. Epaulet carries Carmina "Cognac" and "Saddle" cordovan belts.
