I was able to procure a tracking number by calling them though

Thanks KWL.  Good to know...

I haven't seen anyone offer the #8 boot with antique edging for awhile, seems like most are with the dark edge trim.

Personally, I prefer having the brougeing around the heel, I figure if I'm getting a wing tip, might as well go all the way. Although, the absence would not be a showstopper for me if it was a rare color or makeup.

The wt boot really has a unique feel to it, maybe since a lot of the leather is doubled up or something. It just feels really substantial.

Leffot offered the #8 LWB with an antique edging recently as a pre order.

Sorry, I meant I haven't seen the #8 wt boot with antique edging for sale recently. Yes you are right that the LWB and other styles like the PCT and Tanker boots from Leffot have been available recently.

I would be surprised if they survive an hour.

I own a pair, in that same size, and pondered whether it would be foolish to buy a second pair and get these :rotflmao:

tifosi, my AoC wingtips have no broguing on the back, have a flat welt, dark edging and commando sole. It is a pretty basic design but striking nonetheless. Wingtip boots seem to get more attention than some of my other patterns.

Unionmade and Epaulet have sold color 8 wingtip boots with antique soles in the past. I have not seen Alden NYC offer it (they sell color 8 wingtip boots, but with dark welts and commando soles)

If they were a 10.5E they'd be gone already.

I'm pretty sure Namor might literally kill for these.

I'm going to call NY tomorrow, first, since I'd prefer a commando. If they don't have my size I'll either get on a list or try SanFran on the double leather.

They were.  I am going to throw something out here:  Did anybody receive 11.5D Barries from TSM's Cigar and Ravello blow-out and find them too large and willing to trade for 11D's?

I am starting to think I may be better off with 11.5D's

Wow those Ravello Chukkas are amazing. Nice work

Gentlemen,

Work takes me to Sacramento and Orange County this week. Quite a change from Tampa!

I'm pretty sure there's nothing in the ways of Alden in Sacramento, but Orange County has Gary's.

Have any of you been to Gary's?

I was thinking of driving to Leather Soul but that's a hike from the OC I believe.

Any suggestions are welcomed!
