The captoe has begun creasing the past few wears. the boot is now fully broken in and it feels loose, like a 1/4 size long. I dont mind the crease and their is nothing I could have done really other than size down 1/2 size. I dont think preventive creasing measures would have helped

nephew,
good looking medallion cap toe boot

I do not see ANY flaws only a couple of very minor spots on the shell that I would consider typical for lighter shells that I have seen. They were marked down to 2nds level, but I honestly believe they are firsts. Don't 2nds typically have a marking (r inside a circle) on the sole?

nephew,
wear your nst in good health

Today I went with what has become one of my favorite go-to casual shoes, Snuff LWBs + J Crew argyles.  (However, I am itching to wear some shell this weekend... this thread is inspiring!) Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Hi gentlemen,

I've been lurking around for a while and have a severe Alden #975 jones. However, I have the unfortunate dilemma of odd-sized feet for which only an 8ee (Barrie last) fits. For such a custom size there is up to a 6 month wait. Anyone else have this affliction and if so are there any options other than a custom order?

Who was it that said buy now and deal with the consequences later? Namor or Bakes?  You couldn't have been more correct.  I had been on the fence about the RL Lindrick and Gianni for $705 shipped with tax included.  I saw AltVol's NST pics and thought, I would much rather have those than the Lindrick/Gianni (I would wear them much more often).  Called Joe and what do ya know... $460 shipped and should arrive by next weekend.  What a deal!

I finally found them Uncle!  Pics to come later...
ps Thank you AltVol for the your timely, inspiring pics!!   DonL, you are an inspiration also with those same shells!  cheers.gif

nephew,
congratulations on your new acquisition
go for the cigar

atleast the cigar indys I also received look good. 1 out of 2 aint bad smile.gif
what is tiger striping? Not sure I've seen that term yet. Agree your cigar Indy acquisition is more than sufficient and, added to your recent ravello scores, you should be pretty happy I suspect. Pics of Indys needed.

I would have preferred a Cigar Indy or NST, but this Cigar Full Strap is quite nice. I really don't have any loafers, so it mixes things up. I have never had a loafer fit TTS, but gambled since this was the Aberdeen, and it may work perfectly (hate to crease it testing any slipping).
