Thanks Be. I really like em. Super versatile. I just wore my #8 version yesterday with some flannel trousers and it looked phenomenal.

Budapest, your very welcome sir, and I thank you very much. I can see and feel why Alden has been making the "Indy boot" for so long. They're definitely one of Aldens bread and butter styles.

I agree. Surprisingly, my shell Indys are my wife's favorite Alden that I own.

It took me some time to warm up to the Indy. I always thought it was a handsome boot, but never really saw myself finding a way of incorporating it into my own wardrobe. But having picked up a pair, I have found that they are surprisingly versatile casual shoes and the most comfortable pair I have ever had.

Yes...Mine are my most comfortable boots as well. Although if it wasn't for my single soled, CXL PTBs; my Indys would be my most comfortable footwear, period. I was initially just drawn in by the hand stitched toe...but I appreciate the boot as a whole now that I own them.

Was told my Ravello NST was on Barrie, hoping it is as 10.5D is too tight on Aberdeen

Got a call from him today as well, no new stock

Thanks for that. Just called back in and spoke to Ed and purchased Ravello NSTs in 10.5 and Cigar captoe bals on the Hampton in 10.5 as well. Pricey Monday morning but well worth it. Super excited.

Ed also has a cigar full strap loafer available in 10.5D if folks are interested.

I'm not aware of a Ravello NST on Barrie - Cigar NST's are on Barrie though

The Ravello NSTs are shoes, and I was told that they are on the Aberdeen last.

I haven't worn the Aberdeen last before, so they will be a bit of an expirment.

I was reluctant to pull the trigger as I have already bought 2 pair on ebay this month, snuff suede LHS and #8 plaza monks.

However, as many on here have said....buy now and think about it later!

Joe said they were "beautiful" with the lighter welt and no visible blemishes....we shall see in a few days.
