Roggie Rog-here's a shot of some Whiskey Chukkas I bought new this summer.  Like PTB's...Chukkas also show up creases. In addition...mine have a few spots you can't easily see unless the light is just right.  Look at the toe area of the right boot.  These boots have never been polished, and mainly worn indoors during the break in.  The spots are from the factory and I feel as they age, get patina and get polished the spot will blend in.  It's something that might drive a few members crazy but you don't easily find Whiskey chukkas in size 13D so I kept them.  As you can see the creases are different too.

See Ya,

Steve

Not sure I necessarily like them better, but I want them both!

I absolutely LOVE Alden snuff suede.  I don't have a snuff boot, but this would likely be my first choice; if not, the plain toe boot from J Crew would be the backup, although I do not care for the plantation crepe sole that comes with it.  Enjoy my friend, enjoy often...

I wore my #8 jcrew captoe boots with slightly thicker socks than I usually do last night and the pain I was getting from the creasing is gone. and now I find the shoes much more comfortable! :icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
