Not sure my wife would be cool with even that plan... she'd think I'm operating some sort of slight of hand, smoke and mirrors trick.  "Silly jedi, your mind tricks won't work on me!"  I've already sold a bunch of golf clubs that would pay for this pair. I can't believe I'm gonna miss out on these...  ugh is right!

Didnt you just mention earlier today how you were looking for the right pair of NST's? seems like quite the coincidence fate

Ok, who grabbed the last pair of these in 11D from Leather Soul?  I checked the website last night, saw they were still available, and then sent an email inquiring about them.  Hours later I get a response saying that the shoes were gone and I should check the updated webpage.  I have a feeling it was someone here.  Frankly, that's probably for the best, however, as a 10.5E would likely be better for me.

You are absolutely correct my friend.  That's what makes this tough to swallow.  Oh well, we shall see...

I find that slip on to be an odd looking shoe. Someone did you a favor nod[1].gif

Epaulet CXL PTBs today. Might be a little damp when I leave work so I grabbed the waterlocks.

Since then I've cut down my collection just to Roy boots and Indys, no need to go into office means I can dress how I want. The thing is I still treated them like dress shoes and put them in shoe trees and shoe bags after each wear. Now adays I'm just too lazy to take the boot out, remove shoe bags, and take out the shoe trees,. I'm thinking of just letting them sit by the door shoe tree less, but for some reason I still want to covet them.. it's a shame they are so beautiful. I need to let it go and beat them up like they deserve to be. Maybe a week in shoe trees after a full month of wearing will be better?

I have a collection of about 30 pair of Alden and realized I consistently only wear certain ones so I am slowly thinning the herd. Of the boots I am keeping, I've decided that I'm going to wear them into the ground, especially my whiskey Indy boots. I now wear them for working in the yard, trouncing threw the mud, climbing over logs and rocks, etc. (about the only situation I am planning to not wear them in is in deep snow or times when there is a lot of salt on the ground). However I still clean them off and buff them out each evening and put my shoe trees in them.

I put them through the motions that they were built for but still want to maintain them.
