Some go Barrie size some go tts, 325 last is wide but not Barrie wide. Private sale starts end of this month, no guarantee shoes are included though. Dastig on this forum should be able to help you if you want a direct source. Discount could be 25%-30%(and 15% kicker) but that didn't happen last sale

Eddievdr may also have a few pairs

Best shade of color 8 that I've seen.

That's a cool make-up.  First top-down shots that I've seen of them.  I won't bust out my cords until November.

Good first Alden.  Wise decision.  This won't be the last, I'm sure.

+1. My size was the last remaining pair at tsm. I had plenty of chances, not sure what the hell I was thinking. I know the stock picture didn't look as good as uncle macs post. I will not make that mistake again.

Huge props to the guy at the Chestnut St. J. Crew in Philadelphia, who spent easily 20 minutes on the phone with people at the Ludlow store in New York getting them to honor the discount I got online for the pair I wanted to exchange. It's entirely possible that I got the last pair of 11.5Ds in the country.

Looking closely, I can already see some subtle variations in the color of the leather where the toebox has folded while I walk. It's fucking beautiful.

Congrats man. The last line of your post is a huge reason why Alden shell is so addictive. They patina, fade and evolve much like raw/selvedge denim. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Hello SF!

I'm interested in some particular Alden boots, but I'm having a hard time finding them.

Cigar cordovan straight cap toe boot in 10 D on the Grant last

Cigar cordovan indy boot in 10 D on the Grant last.

Any ideas on how to find these boots? Do you have to check these websites everyday or something? What is your strategy for finding a particular make up.

I'm in Chicago if that makes any difference.

Thanks for this great thread!
