Embrace the stains.  They build character to the shoes.  Think of them like you would your denim whiskers.

Alden plain toe in tobacco color. I found it difficult to find pictures on these boots to get an idea of the color before purchasing. The color appears a bit lighter than the J crew picture and maybe a tad more orange, the light in the picture could be a bit better but this is a good representation. I could add a few pictures in natural light if requested.

I wonder if New York City has the highest density of cordovan shoe in the world?? I worked around Chelsea area and easily spot 4-5 pairs when I walk to work in the morning. What do you guys think?

have to assume there is a fair bit in DC as well. when I stopped in a couple weeks ago to pick up an order, there were 3-4 guys IIRC in there, with a couple (at a glance) sizing up shell.

Whiskey, for my personal style of dress, is nearly 100% casual. For example, my whiskey longwings make it out of the closet pretty much only with denim.

I stomp the boardwalk from time to time in my aldens (although typically, weather permits my oakstreet boats lol)

No whiskey today, but the ravello LWBs made it out.  Is it me, or do these look a lot like Unipair's shade of color 4??

those the recent release from DC? very dark shade, I have a pair but kind wish they were of the lighter shade like the jcrew release from last year

Repp - looking great. They do indeed look 4-ish.
