Damn, you certainly don't need my help. Believe it or not, she resists purchases I encourage. I got her a pair of black suede boots last year, wanted her to get another pair in tan. She refused. After seeing the Bordeaux suede, $695, I want her to get those. Of course, maybe if I can get her in $700 boots, I can justify another shell LWB...........

I wasn't at all an Indy fan until I got black shell Indys from TSM. I have since also purchased the Innsbruck from Epaulet. Both are on commando.

I have had two rare cordovan Indy boots and sold them due to lack of wear. I wore my cigar LHS in two weeks more than I wore my cigar Indy boots over several months. However many wear them well. I do wear my 405c often in poor or rainy weather and am considering preordering the natty Indy version ( my 405c are one of my renaming d widths)

It's true -- I've had a pair of reverse tobacco chamois for over a year and they still smell like they did right out of the box.

how do you like the smell, btw? ive owned my pair for a couple of years and i dont think its lost any of its potency. interestingly enough, the reverse tobacco chamois doesnt smell at all

Unlined CXL! (Click to show)

i also have these, which i love. however, it is different from the cxl blucher linked at the shoe mart. that one is the classic ptb style, while the unlined version is on the dover pattern.

Just say these two words very slowly to your wife with feeling, "manolo blahnik".

I kind of like it. I just picked up a pair of Carminas in kudu, and they have a similar smell.

These were actually originally ordered by my wife as a surprise anniversary gift. I was made aware of them once our anniversary passed and these were yet to complete. Pretty awesome gift! And thanks again to Steven and Che for guiding her through the process.

These are outstanding

^^ I have purchased one tobacco chamois model. The smell was a significant contributing factor in my eventual return of them. It wasn't a bad smell; rather, unique and, for me, entirely too overpowering.
