Glad they have a good home...sorry they were a touch too small for me. Enjoy!

Yes, but those are a Dover version.

So I have to decide what to do with those Ravello chukkas this week. While I know it's totally irrational, I'm hoping their time in the shoe box over my weekend away has evened them out. I'd be psyched to have a pair of either the left or the right colored shoe; just not the two of them together.

pics of said 25 y.o. chukkas? i love pics of new makeups as much as the next guy, but this thread seriously needs an infusion of older and well worn shoes.

shame, but if it were me, I'd return them.

unrelated, but similar.. the ravello LWB I purchased this week have an 'obvious' cleanup mark on the toe. I'll assume at the factory. not bad enough for me to return, something similar would happen if stepping off a curb poorly.

the color difference in your chukkas, I dont think I could live with. just my .02

Went stomping around the vineyards of the Willamette Valley today. I really wanted to wear my new 8 Indys, but the threat of rain and mud proved too much so I opted for my well worn Roy Boots, which are so experienced with these types of excursions:

These look great. Can't understand why I don't have a pair!

Does anyone know the Dover PTB style numbers?  Union made have some suede on the Barrie Last.

Basically would be useful info (for when the shoemart list to go around) to know what style numbers designate Dover - other than just looking at the shape obviously

Pretty sure the shoe is this pair on the modified last. Price was like $500 too but they don't ship to US

Forum affiliate Gentlemens Footwear recently did a group MTO of a Carmina longwing on the Detroit last using dark cognac cordo and a dainite sole. I decided to pass because I prefer a double leather sole, but I was tempted because I like the look a lot and it would be a chance to fill the cigar whole in my life. I'm curious if others would be interested in putting together a group MTO for that shoe but with a double leather sole.

Find somewhere else to peddle your Spanish shell!

lol...  ;)

Technically it's still American shell.
