or

(2) Wait until 2014 and pay the remaining $600 for the Leffot Tankers, avoiding the issue above, saving money, and having plenty of time to responsibly budget for them.

Problems, problems, problems.  :puzzled:

Thoughts?  Thanks.

My friend, if you don't mind the hassle of selling off those tankers when the time comes, I would do it to secure those plaza lasted indies.  I'm pretty sure that that particular plaza lasted boot in any color shell is my favorite of the Alden boots.  All the best...

NYC. last minute call, lucky score. wearing them as we speak to settle in creases, but I imagine they'll get shelved a bit once I see Kathy on thursday and get the LWB i've been longing for.

aside, these PTBs fit like gloves, and the quality appears spot on.

Not such a good eye afterall... lol

5 year old MBP Retina?

Looking to upgrade my 4 year old 13" next month too, or maybe I should just stick with it until it dies and buy a few pairs of Aldens instead...

Every time i see this boot my jaw drops. I have the Jcrew boots and the RL Lindrick and these are the ones that I drool over time and time again. Enjoy

Fantastic, Don.  I've controlled my shell hunger over the past few months, but I think these may be my next purchase.

Was Alden DC one of the places that just got Ravello PTB's?

not a fan of crepe personally. own two pair (natty NST boot and #8 lwb that I intend to resole to double leather at some point)

while I enjoy the 'comfort' that crepe provides, I think the appearance turns to sh*t after regular usage (assuming one is not after that desired effect in say a boot, chukkas etc)

just my .02c
