Therefore, which will be closest to the 14E Aberdeen's? Either: 13E Barrie or 14D Grant.

14D would be closer than 13E.

If there's that much room in the heel then you should probably size down...

Thanks - would you say the same for a 14D Barrie?

Looks like I'm going to try a new pair of color 8 cap toe boots on for size (fingers crossed).

Yes, 14D Barrie would be somewhat similar to your 14E Aberdeen.

Sounds even better. Appreciate the assistance Out of interest, are LeatherSOUL still doing preorders? When is the next one likely to be?

http://www.amazon.com/Dispenser-5oz-...3941786&sr=8-1

seems like this exact one. Probably not originally intended for shoe-shining purpose

Given that it says "Hand Lamp" on it, I'd say probably not.

Leffot again. Natural Chromexcel looking good on a Longwing

^ I like those LWBs ... I'd prefer a darker color on the reverse welt though -- but most probablly, these lighter ones will darken with wear and polishing.

I think the natural complements the LWB far better than any other shoe.

I like that*.

*To those susceptible to being fooled by the colors of pictures this is not a dressy shoe!

Just got a pair of Indy's (standard 405's) in. What do you guys recommend, polish or wax? Also, what color Saphir do you think would go best with the brown: http://www.francos.com/items/index.a...19042&catID=71

FWIW, I'm considering selling my Ravello shortwing in 9D. Its about a half-size too big for me. An insole would've worked but I think they work with boots better than shoes. PM me if you're interested.

I apologize if this has already been explained, but does anyone know if and how the natural chromexcel shoes/boots will darken naturally with time and wear (and without polish or oil)?
