I wear my whisky short wings with a grey suit every other week. They are very easy to pair. Light and mid grey tones blend very well with these shoes. I also have worn them with navy chinos quite regularly. Hope this helps.

If they are not 8.5D, then they look great! No reason to change size that I can see. They are beauties!

What tifosi said except replace 8.5 with 9.5.

That's just working sazon. Your socks are almost as impressive as your shoes. Almost. Very well played.

this is my first pair of cordovan boots and they are MUCH stiffer than the CXL. so i am going to have to wear them
around the house for a few days before i try and spend a whole day in them
and more good news, I am getting a symmetrical creasing pattern bigstar%5B1%5D.gif  I was so worried that one boot would go all funny on me.

but so far I love them and I really hope they live up to my expectations.

Plain toe black shell. My next purchase. Your boots look amazing. Wear them in good health.

oil stains not too visible neither, looks like it would after a month or two of wear which is nice
Hi stevent - in discussing with the guys at Unionmade about how unlined suede breaks in, I was advised it stretchs width-wise.

BeSpiffington, I really want to test that theory this winter. Maybe wear my shell plain toe boots on a regular basis, no matter what it's doing outside. Or maybe get an Indy boot in shell, and just wear it like I wore my CXL Roy boots the last couple of years.
