I'm a 8D Barrie as well. Not actively looking but you never know

The Tanker/NST style is a perfect example of something I didn't know I wanted until I saw it repeatedly on SF. I know some people say there's too much going on with it, but I love the hand stitching across the toe.
Same here. I just love split toes. Even though the tankers will be very close to my shell Indys, I had to have them.
Well that didn't take long...Decided to check out the stock of the black shell captoes on Grant from TSM. Sure enough they had them in stock. So...sure enough I bought them. Finally, some instant Alden gratification (relatively). Hopefully get them early next week.
OK. Now I'm really done till some exotics come up.
Leffot Black Shell Naval Boot:
With my color 8 Plaza last boot from JG
Happened to be wearing the JG #8 Plaza last boots when the Naval (Barrie last) boots arrived. FYI they are both 10.5
Love the Leffot navals. I had considered them, but I really wanted something without any brogueing and not on Barrie. #8 Plaza are nice, too!
Leather Soul Tanker Boots ready to take me out to a friend's farm to pick some sweet corn. I do live in Iowa, after all. I love these boots and they have served me well so far. The commando sole is perfect for snowy and muddy situations.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
good shine on your nst boots
Question about the Mac Method....what type of cloth do you guys use for parts 1 (wipe down with a damp cloth) and 3 (buff with cloth)? Do you use the same type of cloth for both parts? Does it make a difference which type of cloth you use? Interested to hear thoughts and I wonder if there will be differing opinions.
smooth cloth for both steps 1 and 3 i.e. tie shirts, underwear, painters cloth etc
