Thank you!  They are as close to slippers in a pair of shoes you can get.  We'll see if my flat feet play along nicely with the flex welt and sole...

LHS Sockless ... How do you roll? Loafer Socks or Odereater Insoles? Both or none? I just use the loafer socks mostly ... noticed Uncle rolls with the Odereater Insoles .. Preference?

Marcoliani makes some very nice loafer socks if you can find them.

Loafer socks for me. I have some from BB and some Tommy Bahama ones I got off Amazon (these have held up better than the BB variety).

Anyway, I will be employing a more extensive use of the Mac break-in Method thru the weekend with better pics to come.

The phrase "Barrie size" is unfortunate. I have not found this the case at all.

Barrie Longwings as well as chukkas are pretty clearly a half size larger than marked. Most other bluchers appear to be as well. However, if you are mainly interested in boots, and generally like a looser fit, going down a half size can be problematic

BeSpiff - Thank you ! I'm loving me some whiskey these days. Took me a few years to warm up to the color but now they're one of my faves

Although the Color 8 LHS is still king, (I have both lined and BB unlined), this snuff is a supremely comfortable shoe for the season, both socked and sockless:
