Whiskey LWB's are a must have and on my radar to get.  Very nice!

Alden can bypass the retailer and just send these "mistakes" directly to me in the future. Both fit nicely, but I expect the Hampton to be the best last for me. I'm not sure if I would go down a half size on other Barrie boot styles though.

Excellent additions to the collection at a great price!

These were an ebay find over the winter, and I was absolutely thrilled with the value that I snagged these for. Tonight I gave these a full cleaning, giving them a "mac" brushing and cleaned up the edge dressing. While cleaning- I went to work on a dark sharpied in spot on the sole, and I found the following: $10.50. Brutal

This is from Seinfeld's online show on Crackle.com.

On the left, David Letterman. On the right Jerry Seinfeld. So the answer is "Both".

Any chance the boots are from Alden? If not, any ideas on the manufacturer?

Looks like it could also be Ron Ryder's boots.

They are actually Seconds from The Shoe Mart. Got them a few months ago. Just been sitting in my office in a box. Finally starting to break them in. For what is worth, I don't know what their "defect" even is.

Congrats. Sounds like a great deal.

Been wondering the same thing. Can anyone share how this works?

Both barrie and aberdeen suit me well, and I only have one pair of shoes in each of these colors (cigar and ravello in LWB and whiskey in wingtip oxford).

Thanks in advance...

If they where the 10.5 D boot I got the last pair from TSM and they are on the way back. They should arrive Tuesday. I didn't care for the shade of Ravello on the NST boot they where much lighter than the pair of Chukkas I purchased from TSM earlier this year.

Yes, I already have more than will fit in my shoe rack, which I didn't think could happen. Running out of space. Some people have kids and move to the suburbs - others have Alden's, I guess.

Nice! What last are they on and how do you find they are fitting?

Filmed in my town. Dave keeps his car collection in a warehouse nearby. Must say I do like those boots

These cigar NST slip on loafers are on the Aberdeen last and fit true to size for me. I prefer an E width but D works fine for me just a little slugger.

See Ya,
Steve

No hampton yet. The aberdeen is almost perfect in my usual size, but I'd like to try just a little extra toe box room. I've had good luck with the AE 5 last, and these two seem the closest to it.
