Nice! What kind of "oil" did you used?
cheerio
Joacim

Neatsfoot oil, a recommendation by Nick Horween.

It's done a great job at keeping the leather buttery smooth. Only downside is that it slightly darkens the color.

Here's how they look with a little under 100 wearings, only care was shoe trees, brushing, and neatsfoot oil.

any suggestions on a belt (besides Aldens, not wanting to spend $255) on a belt to match color #8?

You can contact Hellbrand Leatherworks and ask for a quote. They'll make a custom belt to your specifications. I just had them make me a CXL belt. I'm very pleased with the quality and price. It was about $45 less than the average and the price included delivery.

I like the BB one, but I'll never wear a gold buckle, silver color only for me. Seems they used to make one, but current collection is only gold buckle.

and as far a custom one, I'll look into it, but most of these custom guys are very, very 'casual' looking and aren't very sleek.

thanks for the feedback though!

I pulled the chukkas from the classified... Cordo chukkas go great with chinos (better than the Indy boots, which shine with jeans)

I've learned to live with the creasing on these - my next cordovan chukkas will be in 9.5E instead of 10D though (this will minimize creasing)

Good call…they look great! As for the creases, roll with 'em that's cordovan. Great looking whiskey & great pants to boot.

Agreed, I haven't tried ordering a custom dress belt. But I wear them infrequently.

What I like about cordovan high boots in rare colors is that they require big pieces of flawless cordovan leather... The uppers on these boots illustrate how cool such leather could look
