Really? I put my name on the list for that several months ago. Do they normally contact people when they get run or do they just contact you when done?

They came too late for the Memorial Day family pic.  Extremely comfortable; can already tell they will be a regular staple this fall and maybe some this summer.

Nice.

Thank you.

Weird thing today while where my #8 Barrie boots. The top of my foot near the first eyelet was sore/cramped all day. I was even wearing my thinnest pair of socks. My foot is on the wider side of D but always D. Do you guys think I should try an E?

The pencil crease is really a matter of preference I personally prefer the look of natural random creasing but I dont feel there is anything "wrong " with it .
I dont think you are overthinking this at all. New shell cordovan shoes are an expensive investment and these are pretty basic questions .

nephew,
well stated

Looking for some sizing help. I have a pair of Barrie D, Van D, and a Cape Cod Beefroll in 11.5 medium that all fit comfortable. Eyeing a pair of saddles on the Leydon last. With little places to check out my sizes for a correct fit in Cincinnati can any one make a recommended Leydon size for me? 11.5 D, 11.5 E? My foot is a little on the wide size ( could barely get an Aberdeen 11D on). Do you think the 11.5 D will provide enough room in the toe for me? Thanks for all the help as usual

If you are 11.5D in Barrie and Van, your Aberdeen size should be 12D and Leydon size likely 12E.  Not sure why you would have considered 11D in Aberdeen.  Sounds like you should be 12D tts.

Thanks to you guys talking cigar tassels, I pulled the trigger today. I also found a lonely pair of straight tip cigars. Now if I could score some Ravello's I would be feel more balanced. Hah talking about being balanced on a forum based on collecting multitudes of expensive shoes. Oh well...I'm all in!

See Ya,
Steve
