I was at the Alden Factory last week and I saw a big stack of either #4 or Ravello shells and they had a tag on the top which said Cap Toe Boot. I asked of they were going to be sold in the USA and where and they said, "yes" and "unfortunately we can't divulge that." Keep your eyes opn.

Saphir renomat is never needed for any shoe especially not for an Indy boot. Just wear them and let them break in

Quick question, should I apply some Saphir Reno to soften the leather or just break them in naturally over time without any conditioner?

I Reno all my new shoes and boots, shell or calf, including my black shell Indys. Others do nothing. You'll just have to find out what works best for you. There are differing opinions ....

Which Indys?

Looking great in your 975s.  The eggplant shade makes them very versatile.  Wear in great health my friend!

I bought the CXL's from NeedSupply. I'll probably just throw a dab of Reno on to shine them up a bit

You didn't have any benjamins with their names on it?

Seriously.  That is a boot that I really, really, really want.  I wouldn't feel bad at all for recently passing on Ravello LWBs if I had that.
