Color 8 by far.

Color #8 is the most versatile of the three and would probably be my first choice but the snuff suede can be pretty nice too.
FWIW, I own both color #8 and snuff suede longwings and my suede ones get worn a bit more... yet I still recommend the #8.
I think it depends a bit on the rest of your collection; for me this is a bit too silo'd of a question. For instance, if you own 3 pairs of other #8 makeups but no suede then that would change the way I answer the question. Also, are you looking for something that can me worn both a bit dressier and casual or strictly more casual? I personally prefer a lot of #8 makesups to the LWB so my answer would probably be snuff suede.
Color 8 remains my absolute favorite, don't underestimate how well color 8 can patina!
Check this out, from Leather Soul's site, here are some 12 year old color 8's (probably these were not polished with Color 8 wax).
They seem to look almost like Cigar, Whiskey and Ravello all in one:
Wish you hadn't posted that, my craving for a cordovan pair of the NST is being feed daily on here.
It's actually not a crepe sole -- regular leather outsole. I got them at Alden of SF -- they only have the picture of the natural CXL on their website, but the navy look pretty damn sexy in person. They're being shipped to me and get here on Weds... can't wait.
You have a choice between Barrie or Aberdeen. The Shoe Mart has the NST shoe in Aberdeen in stock right now and Leather Sole has it in Barrie, both Color 8.
I'm trying to decide between the 2 myself.
you want it on the Aberdeen!!!! (jedi mind tricks)
I own or have owned NSTs on both lasts (and Plaza), and there really is no right or wrong answer between the two, but over time I have grown more fond of the Aberdeen.
