Winning combo?

yeah just checked out the website and saw that those cigar indys are on Barrie which is a definite winner. Too bad this is an "exclusive" and costs around $900, if any US retailers were to make a similar model I am sure they'd sell out in the pre-order (not that I need any more shoes at this point)

We went through this yesterday…subtract the VAT and the cost is $732 before shipping, not $900.

900 minus VAT is I think 750, which is about how much SC goes for and you can figure the shipping = tax. Just hope not to get shipping fees! Alway a way to rationalize.

Another quick shoeshine question.

I have 3 different horsehair brushes that I use for the following:
Black
Color 8/ Dark Brown
Light Brown

When using cloths to shine do you use different cloths for different colors?

Where is this? Got a link?

A link to what? If you're outside the EU you subtract the VAT which is 20%. Upon checkout the VAT will be deducted. This issue arose yesterday in regards to Frans Boone.

Yes but then they add it back on for shipping. I have ordered before and also had to pay UPS close to $30 as well. I also had them held up in customs awaiting clearance for over a week. That was my experience.

Interesting. I only use one brush for all colors. Not too worried about color transfer via horsehair brush. As for cloth, definitely separate based on color

I have 2 brushes: 1 before (to clean out the dirt) & 1 after (for buffing).
