unfortunately I think Alden bans its retail partners from EVER putting something on sale.

I've always prounouced blucher with a ch as in chacha. He prounouces it with a hard "k".

I just purchased Leffot Atom SW in Cigar. No matter what it's a sweet make up that I could not miss.

On Tremont last I went with my Barrie size which is 8.5D. When I wear Barrie, I still have a bit of room so I hope it will work.

Unfortunately my brand new Whiskey LWB will have to go back to Alden SF. If anyone wants a pair and in Canada, just let me know and it's yours otherwise they are gone tomorrow.

I'd lose my mind! From a beautiful aged whiskey color to a terrible #6 color. The recraft is beautiful...the color...not so much

Me too. I like the color, but not unless those were sent in to be dyed. They look like a different pair of shoes, not the same pair of older shoes made to look like new.

 

I don't think Alden can ban sales, but they can enter into a Minimum Advertised Pricing agreement with their resellers.

I suggest calling the Alden factory, the vendor who sold you the shoes, or the Benjo's website.

Whiskey or cigar lwb, both Barrie lasted.

I can only choose one for now. Please justify position based on versatility or complementarity with lwb collection that includes jcrew waxed brown, color 8 shell and snuff suede. Help!

Sadly there's no medication for this affliction of ours.
