Any suggestions? Haven't found it on any site. I like the rounder toe of vs Plaza and others.

Love the Jumper boot from Leather Soul but I think it was a limited run.

My ideal boot. ID would be appreciated!va4u3agy.jpg

Alden af60 or 53 may fit your bill. Also if you are a 10.5 check my classifieds have a new black captoe on modified for sell

Thanks! So if I'm looking at AF60/53 I'm looking at a specific last? Or do I order that style in a certain last?

Looks like Grant or Barrie to me in that pic.

AF53 is Trubalance last with commando sole from Alden of Carmel: http://www.alden-of-carmel.com/Shoes-Shell_Cordovan_High_Lace_Boot_160.htm

I have this boot and it is great. Not really dressy, more for denim and chinos, but a classic. Alden of Carmel has #8 wing tip boots listed, sizes a available may be limited. The Shoe Mart should have #8 wing tip boots as should Alden Madison Avenue in New York. Also consider Grant last cap toe in #8 for a dressier option. Same sources should have something, as well as Alden DC possibly. Grant and Barrie size differently for most people. Ask the retailers and here for advice of needed. Good luck.

I believe something like this would fit the bill? This is a #8 wingtip boot on the Barrie I got from Leather Soul last year.

So I received my 10E snuff suede chukkas from NRO this week, but they are a bit too large. I sized up since I usually hear Leydon is narrow, but it's TTS for me.

Anyway has anyone had any success getting an exchange process started? No replies from the RMA email address. Until I hear from them, I've put the boots up for sale in the classifieds.

+1. I'm not sure I'd wear Indys with a sport coat even. Perhaps if they were on the Plaza like the ones that have been posted recently.

I might wear a cap toe blucher boot or wingtip boot with a suit if it had a leather sole and was on a sleek last.

NRO is notorious for not responding to emails and phone calls. Since you want to exchange, I think you will eventually be able to do that, once you can get a hold of them. If you wanted to return you might be SOL (I hear they like to give store credit).

x3 Another huge fan of the AF 53. Somehow even more comfortable than my shell Indys

I wouldn't advise it
