Hi,

I'd like to ask the experts, if these http://www.theshoemart.com/alden-mens-wing-tip-boot-brown/pvc-ald-mxsbd-44611h_ald_m_wing_tip_boot.html
Are on the same last as Indy Boots or at least are of comparable fit?

I'm about to order another pair of Alden boots and fell in love with some wingtip boots.

Thanks in advance,
Andy

I think those are probably on the barrie last.  They should be similar to Indies.  Most people size half down for both.

great, thanks.
So,if I'm a 10E in Indys, a 10D should fit? 10E ain't available via ShoeMart.

J. Gilbert's #8 plain toe boot on the Plaza today. Wish I had 3 pair of these so I could wear them every day.

Very sharp fit, wj4. Shows how you can dress up chukkas nicely.

Its hard to know for sure.  Maybe 10.5D would be more comparable to 10E, but there is no exact science involved, especially across different lasts.  How do the Indys fit in terms of length, width of the heel, width of the forefoot?  Snug or roomy in any of those places?  Not uncomfortably so, but if you were able to change the dimensions a little, are there any places that you would want it more or less snug?

If your looking to buy another pair and haven't settled on a specific model yet, check out some shell cordovan, if you are open to that kind of thing.

The Trubalance last usually is a little bit more generous in the width than the Barrie last. So if your Indy boot is snug in size 10E, I definitely wouldn't recommend going with a 10D on the Barrie. 10E on the Barrie would probably work better for you. Hope that helps.

Combination looks good. Ever have the speed hooks catch the inner stitching of your cuffs?
