I had a pair of blue boot laces laying around, and I decided to give them a try. These have a purple tint to them, but I agree that navy would look good.
Is it silly of me to order the Leffot Naval boot (black perf toe) when I have both the #8 and Cigar Grant Captoes from Alden of DC? Something about a simple dress boot does it for me and I can get away with them at work on the Friday.
Natural CXL will crease, age differently across the shoe and darken with exposure to sun.
If you're anal about surface appearance, it may not be the leather for you.
i'm not too anal or concerned. Like I said my CXL Indy boots have creased nicely, but thsi oen just seemed a bit more, especially since the right shoe has little to no creasing/wrinkles. C'est la vie
bump this up ... that right shoe looks ruined ... hope that someone has a suggestion to help you out
I hope not Anybody have any idea whats up with the dark spot on the right shoe here? ~One month old, worn 5-7 times, haven't touched them except for brushing after wearing.
Similar to others who have mentioned this in previous posts, I'm finding that boots shaped over Barrie last fit much better than LWBs in the same size (LWBs feel a bit loose).
Can someone give me sizing info on Indy trubalance last any info is appreciated.
What's it that you want to know that has not been covered? I think this is discussed on virtually every page of this thread. Most people size down a half size from TTS for the Trubalance and Barrie. I seem to be in the small minority that runs an 8 TTS and also an 8 in Trubalance and Barrie. There is no way I could size down in the Barrie but I would like to try on an 7.5 Trubalance to feel the fit
