Uncle Mac, thank you. IMO those boots are king of all Aldens. So many questions as I am relatively new to the forum. When and where did you acquire those amazing boots? Have you ever posted a photo of your entire collection, perhaps NASA could allow the temporary use of a satellite to do so? Additionally is there a pair of Aldens that you don't have? If possible what is your #1 alden make up? Again thank you, you are an invaluable resource to all of us.

Out of curiosity, has there been any news of a wingtip boot in cigar?
The tanker boot looks like something Ed Gein threw together in a fevered dream after robbing a grave. That being said, his taste in leather pales in comparison to Alden.

so a few weeks ago i dropped off my boots at j. gilbert to have the speedhooks, which had become loosened, repaired. yenni said it had happened to several pair of this run of #8 plain toe boots. picked them up today so it was a reasonable turnaround. she mentioned their order for a chamois indy and snuff suede wingtip had been confirmed.

I've emailed TSM in the past to get their 2nds list, but to no avail - never a response nor 2nds emails. Would anyone care to forward me various listings, or would it be best to just try to call TSM directly?

I'm all about the 2nds.

I'm not sure how you've contacted them (email I know).  I didn't get a response until I used thier contact page

For what it's worth, I always have good luck emailing and chatting with Ed, one of the owners of Shoemart. You can call the number and ask the rep to talk to Ed and you can be transferred.

Thanks all for the directions on contacting TSM. Looks like I'll have lists coming to me now.

They have a Cigar cap toe boot with commando sole that they stock regularly. We are also trying to get a perf cap toe boot in Cigar as a group MTO, but it hasn't been confirmed by Alden yet.

Epaulet has a Cigar wingtip boot - their Brixton model, with all eyelets, Barrie last, double leather sole. I think it's sold out now, but they may be ordering again in the future.

Sorry to hear that uncle.

My go to suede shoes have a dainite style sole, so they are a great alternative for me under wet conditions.

My double waterlock soled boots are very dangerous on DRY polished marble floors. Almost broke my neck. For some reason, with wear, they've become quite smooth.
