You'd be crazy to get rid of them.

I hear ya, Zipp. My wallet and closet scream sell, but that's why I posted the picture. I know you guys are pushers and will help me rationalize keeping them nod[1].gif

Given by the other listing on his post, I'd say he's probably a 10.

I almost made the same post myself.  Seems self evident, eh?

I'm still not sure how I feel about the eyelets, but I regret not ordering a pair to be able to decide in person. I'm an 11 if anyone decided against them.

No, I know that. That's why I said to read back a few pages where they were publicly announced (and sold out) within two days.

JCrew in TriBeCa. They're sold out.

The Kudu order will go through, I'm sure.  It's not as difficult to get as say Ravello shell.  But I will say that I have quite a few suede Aldens (navy PTB, tan chukka, snuff PT boot, chocolate Modified PT boot, mocha plain cap toe Plaza, milkshake Indy).  And yet I am still without any shell Aldens.  The suede makeups work well for me.  I like the textured, matte appearance of suede.  It's visually more interesting to me than polished calf (maybe even shell) and works very well with casual clothing.  Dare I say, though, that I wear my suede plain cap toe balmorals with a suit?  There's a strong element of personal preference of course but don't short change suede as a shoe option.

What a great make up, eyelets look nice
