nephew,
thank you
you should have one lhs in your wardrobe as long as the last fits your feet properly

Still waiting on a whiskey (cap toe bal, monk or NST) make-up to round out "The Rainbow" (and #4 if it were possible)

I've thought about it but I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't repeat a style or upper until i have them all covered...if that make sense.

I already have a chukka in CXL so (as per my rule) that boot style is out .

nephew,
do to the difficulty of getting the exotic colors, you should be more flexible

I love these. Black shell is wildly under appreciated. Yours are in particularly beautiful condition.

Nice pic! I'm beginning to really like the full traditional look of the Alden's. The Carmina's have that elongated European style which is very eye-catching. My question is which one is more comfortable?

100% true.

Leave it to the English to feel the need to employ an Anglo-Saxon usage in a blog URL about trousers. Fairly entertaining, though.

I kind of want to sell my AE PAs and replace them with an equivalent black shell Alden (9071 or 9016), but as I unfortunately rarely wear a suit, I think it would be a waste of funds that could be used elsewhere.
