Consistently some of the best photos on this thread, and a beautiful collection of Aldens as well.

In need of some Mac method-style love, but not bad considering the rain I slogged through today. #8 captoe boots on Grant. Rubber topys applied (and thankful for that today).

The best bet for a shell (non-Alden) belt right now is Epaulet. I bought a saddle shell belt from them last month and love it. Not cheap though. If enough of us got together and asked Adele and Mike to have Carmina make a bunch of belts for SF members maybe they'll be interested?

My 10 y.o #8 Alden belt is well loved and still looking great.

What about the Carminas make them worth 33% ($100) more than the Rancourts?

BB "tan" Cordovan, 30mm width, gold tone buckle.

Alden Ravello, 35mm width, nickel plated brass buckle.

Alden Cigar, 30mm width, nickel plated brass buckle.

One (1) inch belt would be pretty narrow. Normal dress belts are around 30mm, approx. 1-1/5 in (one and one fifth inch). From what I know, the BB ones are 30mm with gold tone buckles, unless they changed recently. Alden offers 30mm and 35mm, with either gold tone or nickel plated buckles.
