This frees up my like new color 8 chukkas (plaintoe of course, Barrie last, 9D, double leather sole) for a possible swap as we start 2013. If interested, PM me. Thanks.

nephew,
congratulations on hitting the trifecta. wear in good health your ptb boot. for info purposes are the chukkas two eyelet or six eyelet

Sevenfold - I am jealous. Was hoping my box would arrive as well. Agree with you on the Color 8, I don't believe you can have too much color 8.

Thanks, Uncle. My resolution for '13 is minimal shoe purchases. This resolution, however, will not preclude me from acquiring a boot on the Grant last.

Anyone know of any places that have longwings in some sort of black grain? I slept on the jcrew aplines way to long and i doubt they will be restocking those as they have completely disappeared from the site now.

First shoe shine session of 2013 complete. Below is my small collection of shell.

Yeah, saw those and the leffot ones, but not a lot of sizes available unfortunately. I would need a 10.5 in Barrie probably.

if you want a grain wingtip, the Crockett & Jones Pembroke is an absolutely fantastic shoe.

Pembroke is nice, but the black one is smooth.

Tricker's Ilkley is available in black scotch grain.
The Bureau Belfast has a few sizes on sale right now including 9.5UK.
I take a 10.5US in Barrie and 9.5UK in the Tricker's 4444 last. YMMV.

there is a black pebble grain. they have it at the J. Crew Men's Shop on Madison. not a fan of Tricker's... to me they're like Doc Martens with nicer leather.
