Mac: You have posted before about the Aberdeen last and that you thought it - above all others - was a difficult fitting last (I'm paraphrasing but think I have it right). I'm curious as to why you think this?

My Cigar NSTs from Alden DC. I went with 11.5D instead of 11E, since that's what they had in stock.

It works for me, with a firm, comfortable fit from heel through the ball of the foot. Perhaps I might have different creasing in the E width. I haven't had the opportunity to wear the Aberdeen in 11E yet, so ultimately, I'm not sure how big of a difference it would make. I equate it to owning Barrie shoes in both 11D and 10.5E. It seems they can both work for me and it then depends on what's available in a givemn makeup and whether I absolutely have to have it.
