I'm getting ready to place a couple of orders for 2013 and am debating between a blue suede wingtip and a blue suede chukka.  If anyone has pictures of either of these shoes out in the wild, I'd love to see them.  The pictures I've found on google are just of the shoe, but I'd really like to see how they look on with jeans or khakis.

Thanks!

The man speaks the truth - the Alden for BB PTB in Color 8 is the single best, most versatile (use range: jeans to business suits / color range: matches everything) Alden shoe made.

Is this possible? How?

Yes - Cobblers at BNelson Shoe in NYC. I'm sure other competent cobblers can assist you as well.

Proof that balmoral shoes can work very well with jeans.

Need help on my ravello longwings. I feel like from the beginning as soon as flexed them there was a discoloration at the top crease, where the dye sort of moved away. Anyway, ideas on how to make these look better? Should I just use some brown wax? I do live in a dry climate. Is this something I can fix or are we already talking about sending them back for reconditioning? They are only a couple of years old.

Agreed, this looks great. An exception to my general belief that bals and jeans can't work. The pop of whiskey against the denim is a really good combo.

Is it white bloom that can be removed by brushing, or by the hair dryer method?

If not ......

Unfortunately, this looks eerily similar to what happened to a pair of ravellos I had - which I sent back as defective (and were accepted by the retailer as such).

Thanks!

I do not have any blue suede boots. Here's my leather soul shortwings and leffot longwings.
